assumptions regarding monotheists

Governments controlled by the followers of god, are non secular states. Those enslaved in illusion see only illusion, anything else is beyond their comprehension. Would one explain the theory of fusion energy to a one day old child and expect them to understand? So why explain reality to those of infantile, fearful minds. Look at the insane direction those in power are taking the world and what their beliefs are, thats reality. You'll find few politicians in this country not believing in god. Monotheism is at war within all its factions, its logical political monotheists would also be at war, as they're one and the same. They're waging war against the people, just as their religious brethren are doing around the world culturally. They feel they're superior and only they count, typical monotheism. Name a current war or conflict not involving monotheists as perpetrators. They face the problem of finding a way to block out the reality of the expression and application of those following their god provide, as the evidence continues to grow around them. How do you think these politicians get there, their kind blindly vote for them, all factions. I'm against monotheism because its destroying the world, as it's been since its sordid inception. It's steeped in violent despotic barbarities against all living things on the planet. Their belief system is based on lies, as a pretext to wage war on everything, destroying it as they go. They have no other alternative but to attack people personally, no other option but violence, its the backbone of their entire life. None of their factions can live in peace, even fighting each other of the same faction, they call that sanity, I call that a despotic mental addiction. But god loves them, doesn't he?

character. Scholars like Ananda Coomaraswamy, Huston Smith, Mircea Eliade, and
Seyyed Hossein Nasr developed an intellectual tradition within America that
arose out of the post-war disillusionment in Europe – the loss of faith in
Christian spirituality and ethical authority, along with a rejection of the
modern man as the direction for the future. It cultivated a shift to Eastern
religions, and it valorized the notion of a secret Perennial Philosophy held to
be expressed more or less in all religious traditions. The Perennial Philosophy
was based roughly on ideas developed by the French writer René Guenon (1886-1931),
the Sufi convert who moved to Cairo and established his own order. Through primordialization, religion and thought of the
so-called primitives were incorporated into Religious Studies. A range of ideas
and terms were introduced into religious studies analyses by this notion, but
it was particularly obvious in the use of terms like „archaic religion“, that
had a certain aura of antiquity and grandeur about it, or „primitive religion“,
which really could not be applied to the people down the road because they did
not seem to fit and it would not be proper to refer to them as primitives –
after all they were living alongside other modern religions without apparent
difficulty. So, too, the term „traditional“. This word seemed to account for
the religions that did not fit the evolutionary pattern. At the same time,
tradition itself seemed anything but unchanging among these peoples – that made
the meaning of the term even more suspect, even false.

The Tao of Tea

Zyto, the court sorceror of King Wenceslas of Bohemia (not "good King Wenceslas", but a rather nastier monarch), cemented his reputation as a mysterious wonder-worker, so solidly in the imagination of the Bohemian aristocracy, that he was, as contemporary accounts put it, 'carried off by the devil' in a blaze of white light. This ascension may have been the impetus for the rapid growth of magic; it certainly helped it along. The emphasis upon individual power of this archetype also meant that individual magicians were much more common than organised cabals, although they often corresponded, occasionally co-operated, and frequently quarrelled. Zyto, while an adept magician, was not an expert self-publicist like Faust, who was, in fact, only attempting a bid at becoming Godwalker, but managed to leave a reputation behind that substantially exceeded his gifts. He failed his bid, and died a lonely, poor, unrecorded death. At that point, however, other magi were just beginning to catch onto the fact that there was somebody up there who liked them, and, with Faust's disappearance and all the stories about him going round, most people in the know simply assumed it was him who'd managed to ascend. Numerous other schools of magick were created around this time, and some of them contained the seeds of today's postmodern practitioners. Helotomancy, where adepts submitted themselves to a set of arbitrary and iron-set rules in order to gain the power to enslave others, was popular throughout the Americas, as was Sucromancy, which drew on the massive popularity of sugar, sweets, and spices to create a form of addiction-based magick; drawing upon ghosts' traditional fondness for sweets and treats, it was particularly good at summoning and bargaining with demons. Sucromancy and Helotomancy, both popular among slave-traders, were eventually imitated by the slaves and their descendants and incorporated with African magickal traditions to create the various forms of voudoun. The Triangle, a Liverpool based cabal of sucromancers and helotomancers, used its magicks to enforce the control of the Liverpool cartels over the sugar and slave trades, and to influence politicians against the abolitionists, until a sudden wave of popular anti-slavery feeling completely destroyed their efforts. The Underground began to really take off in America around this time, too. There had been magickal cabals there as far back as the 1740s, but the explosion of new ideas, religions, and pseudo-sciences throughout America, from numerology through to intimate massage through to Dr. Kellogg's health regime (which inspired a fitness-obsessed adept called Bran the Blessed to create a short-lived school, an Epideromantic forerunner, that combined intense purging with supernatural bodily ability), gave a peculiar boost to the Underground, which became centred in two important American cities, New York and San Francisco. The Mormons, in particular, set aside from mainstream American society until their abolition of polygamy and with strong elements of occultism and Freemasonry already incorporated into their religious practices, produced a surprising amount of adepts, including the group known as Stones of the Temple, which made several pioneering excursions into South America for both missionary and magickal purposes.

http://www.truveo.com/The-Tao-te-Ching-pt-2-iEvolve-Secret-Temple/id/742694616

we all know. In the media you can´t read any intelligent solutions to this
problem. Sometimes you can read intelligence but not functional intelligence.
In the case of China, where you consciously limit your birth rate to two
children per family, there´s amniocentesis and suddenly everyone wants sons. We
can´t keep up with the technology. Then, here we are with cloning. Newt
Gingrich will want 900 versions of himself. The stew we´re in is enormous. A
movie mogul said you have to play hardball twenty-four hours a day to get ahead
in that business. If the leaders in the environmental movement would play hard
ball twenty-four hours a day, maybe they could file their teeth.

utterly vulnerable moment by moment. It´s the regrettable trap. It´s like
Dostoyevsky questioning whether at some point to be too conscious is to be
diseased. Or, as Nietzsche said, if you stare into the abyss long enough, it´ll
stare back into you. Without question it is not a process that frees you from
your common humanity. The seductions are countless in this world. But, it can´t
bother you too much because if you´ve got to take it raw, take it raw. That´s
what taoism is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzxRQjVHlyw

So here I disagree: IF YOU'RE NOT ALRIGHT THE WAY
YOU ARE IT TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT TO GET BETTER. No, even a lot of effort will
not help: it will mess you up more.
REALIZE YOU'RE ALRIGHT THE WAY YOU
ARE,
AND YOU'LL GET BETTER NATURALLY.

LIFE IS A GAME.
IN ORDER TO HAVE A GAME
SOMETHING HAS TO
BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN SOMETHING ELSE.
IF WHAT ALREADY
IS, IS MORE IMPORTANT
THAN WHAT ISN'T, THE GAME IS OVER.
SO LIFE IS A GAME

understanding of the essential

Nirvana means that a person has come to know that death is not really death, nor is life, life. Once he has come to the realization of both, there is no longer any built-in program left. He lets go of the program. He lets go of both the essential and the unessential. Now he is ready to go all by himself, like the lonely flight of a bird. He goes all alone, leaving everything behind. He leaves behind the treasure as well as the temple. He clears himself of the debts he owes to others as well as the debts others owe to him. He foregoes good deeds as well as bad deeds. In fact, he foregoes everything.

Kabir said, "I leave behind my cloak intact." He says he wore it with such care that no accounts were left pending. He took it off so totally that he did not have to review, to reevaluate his understanding of the real and the unreal, of the essential and the unessential.
Kabir said, "I wore my cloak with great care and then put it aside as I found it, without impairing it in any way." In such a situation there cannot be any built-in program for the future, because the person leaves everything in its virgin state. He will not choose anything; he will not save anything, he will transcend all. Without harboring a single desire for anything, he will let go of whatsoever he has earned in life. That's why Kabir said, "O swan, take off on the flight alone." Now the swan, his soul, is leaving all alone, accompanied by no one -- neither friend nor foe, neither good deeds nor bad deeds, neither scriptures nor doctrines -- nothing.
So nirvana means one who has known that neither was life indeed life, nor was death really death. And when we know all that is not, we begin to see that which is.

It reveals itself not to knowledge, because knowledge is an aggression. It reveals itself to innocence, because innocence is simply receptivity, not aggression; not violence but keeping your doors open, waiting. If the truth comes in, you are ready to welcome it. Truth cannot be conquered. You have to be available to truth, so that truth can conquer you. This is the reason why simplicity is the most significant religious qualification.

That lightning destroys all connections with the body

Enlightenment is exactly what the word means, as if a lightning has fallen upon you. Your being and your body are no longer bridged. You are in the body but your connections with the body are destroyed. That lightning destroys all connections with the body. The body is affected by gravitation, but when all connections with the body are destroyed you are no longer under the law of gravitation. There is another law which science perhaps may never be able to discover. But the scientist has to understand according to his own rules, that every law has its opposite law to balance it. Everything has its contradiction, to keep the balance of existence. The law of gravitation they have discovered, because it is an objective phenomenon, but they know nothing about the law of levitation. The moment you are disconnected with the body, your body is under the law of gravitation being pulled down, and your being under the totally contradictory law of levitation - it is being pulled upwards. It becomes a tug-of-war. Hence most people die after enlightenment. There have been many enlightened people but very few masters, because just to be enlightened is not enough to be a master. You have to remain in the body, to have contacts, connections with other people who are in their bodies, who know only one law -- the law of gravitation. Do you ask somebody, "Am I in love with you?" Either you are or you are not -- no question of approval or disapproval. Do you ask, "Is this sunset really beautiful?" Your very question indicates that you are not feeling the beauty. You are asking others, as a support, so that your imaginary beautiful sunset becomes more real. But nobody's approval can make anything real. Even if the whole world denies your enlightenment you will still be enlightened, there will be no difference. Or vice versa: even if the whole world approves your enlightenment and you are not enlightened, all that approval is not going to make you enlightened.

Life is so simple and so beautiful.

Life is so simple and so beautiful.
If you can remember that tomorrow is not certain, then it is intense too.
Mahavira was standing with closed eyes. A man came to him with his cows and asked him, "As you are standing here, please just keep an eye on my cows; they are grazing. And I will be back soon." He didn't even bother that this man was standing with closed eyes. He didn't even bother that he had not said yes or no -- he was silent for twelve years.
The man went away; he had some urgent business to do, and when he came back the cows had moved further into the jungle. He found Mahavira still standing there, so he said, "Mister, where are my cows?" Mahavira didn't speak, and the man was mad. He said, "It seems that you are a thief You have stolen my cows, and here you are trying to stand with closed eyes and naked, as if you are some great saint. First tell me, where are my cows?"
But Mahavira did not even open his eyes, so the man said, "Are you deaf or are you pretending that you are deaf? I will show you." That man was very angry: all his cows were lost and Mahavira was doing nothing, just standing there; he could not even keep an eye on them. The man was so angry that it is said that he took two pieces of wood and hammered them into both of Mahavira's ears: "Now you will be really deaf!" Still Mahavira remained standing just the same; perhaps he remained deaf his whole life after that.
But there is no need of ears for a Master; all that he needs is a tongue, and that was there. In fact, people like him by and by become deaf. They don't have any use of the ears.
